Professional Face Painting Course

I have zero regrets signing up for the IFPS Pro course.

A few years ago I took a 3-hour course in face painting and thought I was really good — of course I saw others who could do more, but they had it as a full-time job. Last fall I stumbled across the IFPS Halloween challenge, with daily painting and a community that supported and gave tips, which woke something up in me. So I took the plunge and jumped into their Professional Facepainting Course. Magical! I never would have believed there was so much to learn.

This course has been absolutely amazing and truly transformed my skills. When I look back at my early work from 2018, I can see such a huge difference — now I have the confidence and freedom to create beautiful designs in minutes. Special thanks to Olga and to my wonderful instructor, who continues to inspire me.

YouTube is a fantastic resource, but it doesn't offer feedback. IFPS gave me what years of self-teaching never could: structured progression, expert eyes on my work, and real accountability. That single difference changed the trajectory of my painting completely.

Enrolling in the IFPS Pro Course was a wish of mine for many years. I dabbled in face painting but lacked the confidence to pursue it seriously — this year I took the plunge, and I could not have been happier. Graduating is truly a dream come true. The course gave me the tools I needed to improve my skills and the support to push myself to be better and reach for more as a face painter.

Prior to IFPS I had been face painting for about 11 years, self-taught as many of us are. Knowing how much I love face painting and how much I love learning, my family all went together and gifted me this course. It honed many skills I already had and brought them to the next level, and made me reevaluate how and why I was doing certain things in my art — having a coach to point out what could be improved changed everything.

After dreaming of joining for years, I finally went for it and I don't regret it! I found a truly caring and incredibly creative community — through the platform, you meet people from all over the world and every skill level, all sharing the same drive to improve. Despite working full-time with a busy family life, I managed to complete the Professional Course in less than six months, thanks to the invaluable guidance of Maud, who helped me boost my skills and refine my technique.

I'm a full-time mom and someone who loves art. I studied face painting for a year but always hovered on the edge of being unprofessional — I thought I could draw, but lacked detail. I stumbled upon the International Online Face Painting Summit and enrolled, and although the course was a bit difficult at first, I learned professional skills I couldn't find anywhere else. Unlocking each task, from theory onward, changed everything.

I highly suggest joining the International Face Painting School and its community of face painters. It's the best way to grow, connect with your fellow colleagues, share experience, and create wonderful ideas. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, covering everything from essential brush techniques and color theory to advanced designs, speed painting, and business tips — I even appreciated the chapter on hygiene standards, since it's so important.

I really enjoyed how much information was in the pro course — the start is a deep dive into all things face paint, looking at the ingredients of different paints, how they behave, and which are best for different techniques. I found this incredibly helpful both in growing my skills but also saving money — I don't need to try every kind of paint anymore. Having Maud guide me along the way, with clear instructions and illustrations on what could improve, kept me focused when I could easily get off track.

I had already worked on a few occasions doing face painting and received many compliments, but deep down I felt I could give so much more. I've always been self-taught — countless hours searching for videos and photos, trying to learn on my own. Until one day, I connected with this school. And everything changed. I finally understood what I was missing, and more importantly, what I was capable of.

Before enrolling in the International Face Painting School, I was completely self-taught. I spent hours recreating other people's designs, trying to figure out how they made everything look so effortless and professional, with no real framework to understand why certain techniques worked. Joining IFPS gave me that framework — and so much more. For the first time, I understood the 'why' behind everything, and my confidence grew with every lesson.

I practiced a little at home and bought a few colors, but I realized very quickly that without proper guidance, I wasn't making real progress. The coaching I received changed everything. My coach saw things in my work that I couldn't see myself — and that's what took me from struggling to certified.

Before enrolling I sometimes felt unsure if I was truly doing things the right way. The support, structure and individual coaching I received gave me the clarity, skills and confidence to take my craft — and my business — to a whole new level. The coaching element was invaluable.
